The interaction of nonlinear partial differential equations and geometric analysis is a very active area of mathematical research internationally that is continuing to produce outstanding breakthroughs since resolution of the Poincare conjecture in the early 2000s. There are also important applications in moving boundary problems including evolving fronts, phase transitions and image analysis.
This workshop will focus on nonlinear partial differential equations, geometric analysis and importantly, the interactions between them including variational methods and curvature flow.
