Subfactor theory provides an entry point into a world of mathematics and physics containing large parts of conformal field theory(CFT), quantum algebra and low dimensional topology. This workshop will feature master lectures by Vaughan Jones, and focus on the strong interactions between Subfactors and CFT which have proved to be very fruitful lately.
We hope that this workshop will strengthen the connection between Planar algebras and CFT, and lead to further fruitful collaborations among the participants.
