自守周期与球面的变化

本次研讨会的目的是了解在球面变化理论的帮助下，自守形式周期的研究产生的问题。自守形式的周期关于球面子群早已被用来研究L-函数和朗兰兹函子性。该研讨会将为球面变化理论的小型课程和许多国内外方面的周期积分。我们将探讨目前的知识状态和猜想国内外的区别，并且将讨论这些猜测的可能性的改良。

Synopsis:

The goal of this workshop is to understand problems arising from the study of periods of automorphic forms with the help of the theory of spherical varieties. Periods of automorphic forms over spherical subgroups have long been used in order to study L-functions and Langlands functoriality. The workshop will feature a mini-course on the theory of spherical varieties and many talks on the local and global aspects of period integrals. We will examine the current state of knowledge and conjectures on local and global distinction, and will discuss possible refinements of these conjectures.
