The academic conference "Sanya Waves" organized by Tsinghua University Chair Professor and Director of the Tsinghua University Qiu Cheng-Tong Mathematical Sciences Center, Qiu Cheng-Tong, along with Professor Lars Andersson from the Beijing Yanqihu Institute of Applied Mathematics, Sergiu Klainerman, a member of the American Academy of Sciences and professor at Princeton University, and Ma Siyuan, Associate Researcher at the Institute of Mathematics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, will proceed as scheduled at the Tsinghua Sanya International Mathematics Forum from January 8th to January 12th, 2024. This conference will host 62 mathematicians from various domestic universities and research institutions, engaging in discussions on fundamental topics such as nonlinear wave equations, geometric analysis, and general relativity, encompassing a total of 19 related academic presentations.
