Tsinghua Sanya International Mathematic Forum (TSIMF) is a new conference center of Tsinghua University, one of the leading universities in China.

TSIMF is a special conference center devoted to mathematics, theoretical physics and related fields and will play an pivotal role in the future of mathematics.

The inaugural and 2nd Conference of TSIMF was held in December 2010 and 2011 respectively. The 3rd Conference of TSIMF is the inauguration of "Master Lectures on Mathematics".

As eloquently said by Abel, the motto of "Master Lectures on Mathematics" is "Learn from the Masters!"

The inaugural Master Lectures on Mathematics is featuring the contributions of four masters, Prof. David Mumford, Prof. Richard Schoen, Prof. Stanislav Smirnov, and Prof. Wilfried Schmid. Their lectures are accompanied by four related workshops.
